Hello! I've finished painting Combat Patrol, I am enjoying hobby and trying to learn more. I am looking for tips with my paint choice. I am using Caliban Green as my base and Warpstone Glow as edge highlight, I am learning layering and in this miniature I used 1:1 mix of warpstone glow and caliban green, however I'd like to increase contrast and make my results more replicable for the army. What paints can I use to help? I was thinking moot green but I am afraid it's too bright. Also any other tips are welcome.

I've hurt my knee and had a week off work, so I had quite some time to work on Overlord and Doomstalker. I got to admit I am pleasantly surprised by how much work and fun it is to build that machine. Can't wait for new boxes I ordered.

I am getting close to finishing my first combat patrol and I'm looking for help with what to buy next. Can you recommend me any sites/Youtube video's or channels that wilk help me understand what I need? I see you guys using words like action monkeys, or saying a list needs someome to sit at home objective, but I've got no clue what unit is good action monkey or homesitter.

I know I should mainly follow the rule of cool, but I want to buy some cheaper units to learn painting before I get Szeras or Nightbringer. I am almost sure I want a pack of wraiths, because I like their look, but I'd like to order something along that.

I'm still working on my first combat patrol. I've been working on my mephrit dynasty warriors, I feel like I've improved but there arę still few things I'd like to change.

1. I'd like to find some darker metal for joints. I have leadbelcher, ironbreaker and stormhost silver, would Iron warriors work? What can I use to highlight it?

2. I am painting the weapon abaddon black, and I like it, but I'd like to make it really pop. What paint do you recommend to highlight it? I've been mixing white and Black, but it's hard to replicate effects. How do you even decide on what colour to use for highlights?

I would also like to add them some rusty spots, so I'm thinking od picking up either ryza rust od typhus corrosion.

Any other tips or guide recommendarions are welcome.
