[3 YOE] Business analyst — barely getting any callbacks, not sure what's wrong

I've been applying for Business Analyst roles in India for a while now, and honestly, I'm getting pretty frustrated with the lack of callbacks.

I have 3+ years of experience, primarily across enterprise/IT and health-tech and an immediate joiner.

I've applied to a lot of roles that I genuinely feel are relevant to my profile, but the conversion from applications → recruiter calls/interviews has been disappointing.

A few things I'm questioning about my resume/search strategy:

  • Is my resume positioning too generic for BA roles?
  • Am I putting too much emphasis on tools/keywords instead of actual business impact?
  • Should my experience bullets be much more quantified?
  • Does my Infosys experience come across as strong enough, or does it look too generic/IT-services oriented?
  • Am I targeting the wrong roles given my background?
  • Are there ATS/formatting issues I'm overlooking?
  • Should I be focusing more on referrals/networking rather than portals?
  • Am i asking for too much? (40%)

I'm also exploring opportunities outside India (UAE/Netherlands) because I'm honestly getting tired of the Indian hiring process and the compensation being offered for 3+ YOE.

Not looking for validation — if my resume/strategy is weak, I'd genuinely rather hear that. What would you change if you were in my position?

I’m a Business Analyst actively looking for new opportunities, and I’d really appreciate any referrals or leads from this community.

Been grinding job applications for MONTHS, and I'm exhausted.

LinkedIn? What a dumpster fire. It's Facebook 2013 all over again—endless trip pics, IPL memes, and "hiring" posts that are just follower farms. HRs ghost you after you pour your heart into messages. Fake job ads everywhere to boost engagement. No one's actually helping each other anymore.

I've reached out to dozens of people. Tired of tailoring resumes for ATS black holes and begging for referrals that never come.

If there's a REAL HR, recruiter, or anyone with connections who actually gives a damn, PLEASE help a brother out. DM me for my resume or comment if you know of openings. I just want a fair shot.

Rant over. Thanks if you're reading this far.

also if you need referral at infosys, let me know. I am happy to help other strugglers.
