Hats & Colonial Attire for Kids

We're coming to visit Colonial Williamsburg in about 10 days and my 8 year old is beyond excited.

I am trying to keep it budget friendly, but we are having dinner at a tavern and plan on a carriage ride (as long as I can get tickets). I saw you can no longer rent costumes but does anyone know how much the kids straw hats are or an inexpensive way to dress up that isn't Amazon? I've tried searching but can't find prices on anything and maybe there is even an amazing place locally I haven't heard about. She is definitely coming at this from an American Girl/Felicity Merriman standpoint if that helps.

This is our kids first trip to CW, but definitely won't be our last.

Just a post to say thank you to everyone who donated as a guardian!

I can't tell you how much the app helps me or how excited I was to open it and see I get plus for 30 days free! It may seem small, but it means so much to me, and I'm sure many others. One day I'll be able to splurge on it myself, but not quite yet unfortunately. Again, THANK YOU!

I hope both sides of your pillow are always cold!
