Australian Tv Series - Prosper

Hey everyone - has anyone watched the tv series Prosper? It is on Stan and I was interested in watching it as I think it is very loosely based on Hillsong ( I just watched the Hillsong doc on Prime).

The show started off slow but it was so good! After episode 3 I was hooked! Does anyone know if we will get a season 2?

What are people’s thoughts on the show? It had pretty great acting! I haven’t seen any discussion on it.

17 whole seasons - Done

So I finally did it, watched all 17 seasons for the first time and I am a little sad I am up to date! I have enjoyed reading everyone’s comments and previously posts as I have been on the journey!

My favourite housewife has to be Marlo overall but truly enjoyed all the housewives and what they bring to each season - I know you all thought she flopped when she got the peach but I thought she got ganged up on especially in her last season. Totally understand as well the impact she had on that women she assaulted (really horrible) - so just wanted to make known that whilst she was my favourite housewife on the series however as a person that is a different story.

Least favourite housewife would have to be Brit and then Kenya - though completely appreciate what Kenya brought to the series, it would not be RHOA without her as much as she frustrated me, she brought thaaa drama!

In all honestly I enjoyed every season as well! I kept waiting for it to get crap but each season had something to it and is much better than some of the other RH that have been on as long as this one. This franchise is hands down my fav!

Now I get to enjoy all the new episodes for the latest seasons with you guys ❤️

Hopefully one day we will get to see Nene back as well and hopefully not being all high and mighty and self righteous, but fun and quick witted like she originally was!

Movie recommendation please - Murder Mystery

Hey everyone, my son is 12 years old and said he is interested in murder mystery genre.

One thing I love about having kids is introducing movies and tv series that were really good and feeling like I’m watching it again through their eyes.

Can you please recommend any good movies or tv series where there is a murder and it has a good twist at the end about who was the killer. As my son is 12, not something too dark would also be good.

Thank you!

Edit: thank you everyone for your suggestions! We have heaps of movies/ shows to keep us busy for awhile! My son really appreciates all the recommendations! Some violence and gore is fine, he is pretty good with stuff. When he first told me, I was thinking Sharp Objects is such a good series to watch but then the themes are so dark so wanted to start with something a bit more light and age appropriate! Will be going with ‘Clue’ for our first movie! And the Knives Out movies - though we have actually watched the third movie together already (which I didn’t realise until I asked the question - might be where he discovered he enjoyed this type of movie / tv show).

Atlanta keeps on delivering!

I have been going through the seasons! Currently on season 13! 5 seasons to go.. and each one is 👌

These ladies know how to have fun, keep it moving, and have an enjoyable season! I don’t know think there has been one season that I have not liked yet! I sometimes check reddit about a season and see comments about how it is boring but I have enjoyed each one!

I think Atlanta is my favourite housewives franchise! I have watched almost all of them!

I love and get annoyed of all of the main gals! Nene, Cynthia, Kandi, Kenya, Porsha.. I miss Phaedra! Sheree! I like all the extra woman! Claudia, Eva, Tania, Shamae, etc. I absolutely adore Marlo! Though at this point she hasn’t been a full time housewife but she is so fun! I think as each season starts I am waiting for disappointment but it hasn’t happened yet!

I can’t even tell you who I would ride and die for. I love that these woman show you that people have their flaws and their positives - each person is good and bad. If there is anyone that I haven’t liked at all, it is prob Kim Z. I always feel at times I don’t like that person but come next season, they are great ahh!

Side note, after watching season 12, it was so nice to see both Porsha and Kenya be mums. Both their girls are such little cutie pies, and both of them were such engaged parents (watching Kim have her child, and everytime the child popped or cried or needing a feed she would hand over to the nanny made me side eye), it was really nice. I know they ended the season not getting along but I hope both Brooklyn and PJ are little mates now!

Guy rant.. Marc Daly, Dennis

Why are the men on this show so despicable… on season 12 now and I am not a Kenya fan.. but her husband is soooo mean.. ‘if your talking to me about a pre-nup we areee done!’ Why are the men against pre-nups? Also, my experiance with life is that ‘men’ think women are just after there money, and so to watch this show where men are like what pre-nup, you don’t trust me, when in every day life it is the opposite is so frustrating. It just feels like these guys are truly taking advantage of these women. If they weren’t successful, and on tv etc I bet you 100 bucks they would be forcing a pre-nup down their guts!

Also Porsha is absolutely stunning and smart and soooo freaking funny and Dennis is blergh! Why the hell did this man cheat! They had such a love last season, and she really gave her all just for him to do that! Also Nene sucks for the msg she sent Porsha after she just gave birth and considering what she was dealing with, with her first child wanting to have a family experience. Just shitty behaviour.

Manipulative mofos! These men. Todd I’m shitty at you also.. your daughter is saying she needs more from you - just a bit of communication and affection.. listen, and hear her.. don’t just then ignore her for a week. wtf! Sorry rant over!

Season 11 - Tanya, Shamari and Eva

These three ladies completely slayed! They were so fun to watch this season and I love how they got along with eachother and looked out for eachother on the season. Porsha also had such a great season as well. It was a sad season because of Gregg but overall this was such a fun watch.

One of the things with RHOA is that they have their drama but they all have so much fun together and there are so many laughs!

First of all, I am on season 6 and I have to say it.. why do these woman constantly call eachother fat and comment on each other’s weight constantly!

Like if they want to see fat! Just have a look at my body. The woman all have great curves and great bodies and it is disappointing for them to constantly put each other’s looks down.

The Phaedra fat comments are even more so disturbing considering she just had two babies for crying out loud! And personally I think she looks amazing!

The low blow insults are next level.
