Aurora's royal wedding storybook

Aurora's royal wedding storybook

I loved this storybook so much. And I think her dress in that is one of disney's best wedding gowns. And the ending with them riding off into the clouds is so sweet, like the ending of the movie when they danced away on the clouds.

Ariel at Disneyland Paris Parades 2009-2025

Ariel noticing me at the parades at Disneyland Paris over the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2024 and 2025. (Between the years 2014 and 2024 I was only twice at Disneyland Paris in 2017 and 2021, in 2017 I didn't get a picture of Ariel at the parade and in 2021 I was too far away from the float)

Park actors are so sweet in how they make children and adults happy. The Ariel actresses made me so happy when I was a little girl and then again as an adult. Disney park actors are the best.

One thing I loved about their kiss scenes was that in the movie and the wedding short, it's always Rapunzel initiating all their successful kisses. I like it when a woman knows exactly what and who she wants and goes after what she wants. It's clear with their kisses that Rapunzel wants Flynn so much and also wants more from him and isn't willing to wait.

Flynn on the other hand looks like he is hesitant of closeness and kisses in the movie and the short but he does it for her because he loves her and is a gentleman. That is a very sweet and romantic, good message.

And I think it's also a wonderful and an actually feminist message that Rapunzel is the one initiating their romantic scenes and going after what she wants and actually having romantic agency. I like it when a woman is the one seizing the initiative and making the first move. That always seemed very feminist to me. It's something Disney unfortunately doesn't allow anymore but Tangled and the wedding short released shortly afterwards had that special and feminist message.

And the wedding kiss in Tangled ever after is probably the most special kiss because of how excited Rapunzel is about marrying him and of him becoming hers and how fiercely she kisses him. I love when fictional female characters are allowed to act like that.
