Title, I just hope I can get something more out of them. It just feels like such a waste to throw them away.

Any silly projects I could do? Cool stuff I could find if I open them up? Maybe even some crazy way to try and revive them?

Edit: People are asking how are they dying. Sometimes they can't mount, sometimes they can. Seems like they have a bunch of bad sectors and will run okay up until they come across one, when they do they and the system grinds to a halt.

Smartctl says "Drive failure expected in less than 24 hours. SAVE ALL DATA."

Let me know if I should add more info, still very new to homelabbing.

The devs removing the Nodegrabber is the honestly best update of all time

The Nodegrabber has been such an annoying and unrealistic part of the game, first off, I don't know about you guys but my desk is very small so I always put my drinks on the CTRL key. (I can't put it on any other key, my cat sleeps on those) But this meant that every time I clicked I would grab my car and rip it in half, such a useless feature.

I always thought that it was weird the Nodegrabber even existed, like it's supposed to be a simulator? Why can I just grab the car anywhere and shoot it into the atmosphere? It constantly breaks my immersion and I'm so happy it finally got fixed

And honestly super excited for when nodes get removed in BeamNG 3
