Happened on this info while looking up a name for a story character of mine, and I just wanted to share cause I thought it was interesting :>

The name Chernobog derives from "the black god" from Old Slavic čĭrnŭ "black" and bogŭ "god". In Slavic mythology, he was a god of misfortune.

Sucks for our boy, but I really appreciate the care that goes into a character for this game, even for something as simple as a name. Sometimes a name is chosen cause it "sounds right". Other times it's to expand on a character more beyond what you see.
