Picked it up today from an awesome dealer in NY. Meadowland of Carmel. They were great to deal with.

26 B5 Blue - premium 5.7 hemi only options were as follows

Tow n Go

Premium

Redline Blacktop

All weather package

Drives awesome. Handles great. Immediately had to take the cheap GT sticker off and put on an actual badge that I found and liked.

Plan to keep it long term so ill probably drive it for a few years the way it is, and if no issues, the plan is do the lastest generation Whipple Supercharger kit. High horse performance is a really quality hemi shop and they aren't too far from me.

Overtime whatever breaks built it back stronger and better. Anyway loving it and thanks for all the help and chats along the way 😎

I've had a lot of fast cars in my past and I recently ordered a B5 Blue 26 GT Hemi Premium with tow n go / blacktop redline/all weather package.

I purposely didnt order the new RT with the 392 because I just felt for a daily driver I didnt need the extra horsepower. I figured the slightly extra fuel range would come in more handy. When I was younger the GM 5.7 LS1 was the legendary motor everyone talked about. The 5.7 hemi is very similar with 10 more hp and 40 more tq. I figured it would be perfect for what I want.

Since I haven't taken delivery yet I have some clown friends that keep saying how slow it is in comparison to their stupid bmw suvs and range rover which are always in the shop anyway 😂

None the less i know anything can be modded to be faster if you want that (even though I don't think id ever need it for a street daily. I kinda think it's perfect the way it is) BUT for the 5.7 guys I'm curious on your latest impressions on your rigs power and street manners.
