Slight break in the clouds hiding majestic Gros Morne Mountain. Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland, Canada [4284 x 5712] [OC]
Is this a strong portfolio piece?
I'm trying to build a data analysis portfolio to strengthen my candidacy for more data-focused roles. I put together this analysis on great ape habitat loss, and I'm seeking feedback on whether this is a strong contribution to my portfolio and what could be improved. Here is the link:

Still cleaning up the repo and documentation, but wanted to share here for some early feedback. The analysis examines 25 years of satellite-derived forest loss data in primary great ape range countries and attempts to demonstrate whether protected areas are associated with reduced loss.
Thoughts on my 2026 so far? Great reading this year 😁

Built a Power BI dashboard to track $4B+ in climate finance across 140+ countries - seeking feedback
I built this dashboard to visualize the impact of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol (MLF) as a side project at my job. The MLF is a financial mechanism that supports developing countries in phasing out ozone-depleting substances and high global warming potential chemicals.
The dashboard has two pages:
Overview — an interactive ArcGIS choropleth map showing completed projects by country, with KPI cards, slicers for region, period, and project attributes, and a tooltip showing disbursement and phase-out progress per country.
Project Details — a drill-through page with country-level project list (custom Deneb visual), agency and project type breakdowns, and a cumulative ODP/CO2-eq phaseout area chart showing phase-out progress over time from 1990 to present.
All data is publicly available from the MLF Secretariat. Built in Power BI with Deneb/Vega for the custom visuals.
Would love feedback on layout, visual design, and whether the story comes through clearly.
