Does anyone work for one of the larger companies like Invitation Homes or Progress Residential? These kind of larger companies own over 90% of the homes available for rent in my area.

I applied to one and was approved then they asked me to add any adults on the lease that would be living there. I added my dad, they forced him to apply as well and denied us both as a whole since his credit was bad.

I’m wondering if we will actually risk getting evicted if I leave him off the lease? As long as rent is always paid, do they really check up on who’s in the home?
