Looking for the best kitchen remodeling in San Diego any suggestions?

Trying to keep my small catering business afloat while we deal with some unexpected tax issues. We just leased a new space and need to build out a commercial prep kitchen fast.

I've seen so many ads for these big design-build firms, but I know those usually end up with terrible hidden fees once they actually start pulling permits.

Does anyone have a go-to local contractor that does quality work and actually honors their upfront pricing?

What’s something about life you didn’t expect to matter so much?

When you’re younger, it feels like the big things in life are obvious, career, money, achievements, milestones.

But the more time passes, the more it seems like the smaller things actually shape how you feel day to day.

For me, it was routines and who i spend time with. they ended up affecting my mood and mindset way more than i ever expected.

Has anyone tried a good basement remodeling around Phoenix?

Running a small office building and things are tight right now with some financing falling through. We need to completely overhaul the lower level to create a break room for the tenants.

I've seen other owners get scammed by contractors who quote low and then disappear for weeks leaving the place gutted. I literally cannot afford to have my building a construction zone that long.

Has anyone used a reliable crew that actually sticks to their timeline and knows commercial grade setups?

Has anyone tried a good kitchen remodeling around Las Vegas?

Got a small event space here and we are in the middle of trying to get an equipment loan approved. The prep kitchen is a disaster and we need to upgrade the plumbing and electrical before wedding season hits.

I know how fast a bad contractor can ruin a timeline. I've seen other places lose thousands in bookings because they hired cheap crews who couldn't pass city inspections.

Need a professional team that actually knows commercial codes but won't bankrupt me right now.

Help woodpeckers are driving me crazy

Hey friends!!

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has dealt with this before I spend more money on solutions that might not work.

I live in West Michigan, and for the past couple of months, woodpeckers have been relentless, pecking holes all over the front of my house to make nests (see the picture). The photo shows one side of my garage. I’ve tried hanging reflective bird objects and noise makers like bells and chimes, but now they’ve just moved on to making new holes in different spots.

Just to clarify, I don’t have a bug problem, so I don’t think they’re after food the holes are pretty big, so it’s probably for nesting. No matter what I do, they keep coming back and making new holes.

I’ve filled some of the holes temporarily, but they keep creating new ones. I really need this to stop before I call in a contractor to fix everything.

The front of my house is stucco (like in the picture) with some rock accents. The rest of the house is vinyl siding, and I haven’t seen any issues there just with the stucco.

Any advice or tips would be hugely appreciated! I’m at my wit’s end with these pesky woodpeckers we’re up to five unfilled holes now, and I feel like I’m losing my mind...
