Father passed today
Like the title says today was the day. 2 hours ago, we looked at each other and he drew his last breath. I posted about what I would do in this situation 4 years ago. Now the day is her, I'm lost, and it doesn't even feel real.
I'm grateful I was able to be his caretaker these last couple of years. It was hard, the hardest thing I've ever done, but that was time I knew I could never get back. I just hope he's in a better place now.
