When I am with friends I usually walk in the busier areas, but alone I'll always take the quieter streets (for example I'll walk up Washington instead of Hudson, even if it means i walk a bit extra to get places) I wonder though... some people must be the opposite and prefer walking down the busier streets.
I don't think the Marilyn dress would have been a big scandal if she didn't say this a few weeks earlier (She said this Mar 2022, the Met Gala was May 2022).
Realistically people wear vintage fashion and dead people's clothes all the time. She borrowed it from Ripley's Believe it or Not, and it was a dress Marilyn wore for a publicity stunt several months before she passed away. Marilyn wore it for one night. She didn't die in it. It was not some dusty 500-year old sacred museum piece pulled from the archives of the V&A. Damage to the dress was never confirmed, Kim only wore it on the red carpet, and it was never even fully zipped up.
I think it was more like this:
I don't know how to explain this perfectly, but the other day I was thinking about how there are just as many people around as before, but everything seems quieter than maybe 10 or 15 years ago.
The only thing I could think of is that maybe people used to come to the city to seek attention from lots of strangers, so they'd really pump up their personalities in public and act more over the top, but maybe now they can do that on social media, so they aren't doing it in public as much anymore? Now most of those people are being pretty tame in public because the rest of the city doesn't really need to be their audience anymore.
Does that make any sense?
