Best Stakehouse at MGM Properties

Hey,

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the best Steakhouse at a MGM property in Vegas?

We did Jean George's at the Aria in June and it was excellent, but in September we want to try a new place (using resort credit). We did originally book Bavette's for June but after reading some recent reviews and YT videos, there was quite a few negatives reviews so we changed it to Jean George's.

Which ones have you been to and which was your favourite?

Thank you.

Edit: Thanks for all the comments everyone. Looks like the community has spoken, Bavette's it is 🙂

My Offers Updated - Aug 1st

Hello,

To those of you who have seen my previous posts on here, my offers have finally updated after my June trip where I did:

Coin in: $74,560.09

Coin out: $65,353.21

Jackpots: $6,893.31

Net Loss: $2,313.57

I earned MGM Gold tier during that stay and surprisingly we had 90% of our bill waived (saving us thousands of dollars). We've already booked to go back in September and we can't wait!

My previous offer was:

4 nights comp (standard rooms)

$100 resort credit

$120 free play

As of 1st August, my offers are now:

4 nights comp (high end rooms i.e. sky suites)

$400 resort credit

$850 free play

If I wanted to stay at the lower end resorts (park, nyny, mgm, Luxor etc...) then my resort credit ranges from $600 to $1200!!

We actually like staying at the Aria so even prior to knowing what our new offers would be, we got in contact with one of Aria's VIP Hosts who booked our trips for September, she actually gave us a better deal than what the new MGM offer is.

I do think it's crazy how they offer you so much more resort credit at the more budget resorts, even though you can still spend that at any MGM property just by billing everything to your room.

Hopefully this gives some of you a better idea of what to expect if you have a similar trip, although previous stays will also need to be taken into consideration.

Great experience on the latest Vegas trip - 90% Comp

Hello,

I was Pearl status and in Jan we booked to go back to Vegas for June 2026 (we're from the UK, the last time we went was Sep 2025). We had an offer on my MGM Rewards account for 4 Nights comp, $150 in F&B credits and $120 in free play. We actually booked for 10 nights at the Aria as we also benefitted from discounted rates so for the full 10 nights we'd booked it cost us $950 (resort fee included in that).

How ever.... I reached Gold tier on the second to last night there and I was only $2,000 in the red thanks to winning 3 handpays ($2000+) on slots whilst there. I went to the rewards desk to enquire about how I can get the resort fee waived for the entire 10 nights since now I'm gold. They told me I had to go to the front desk as they can't do it at the rewards desk anymore, so I went there and the front desk at the Aria refused to waive the resort fees saying if I was Pearl when I booked when I still have to pay. Know I know that wasn't true as even on MGM Rewards website it says if you progress to gold whilst on your trip, the resort fee will still be waived.

So I ended up going back to the rewards desk and they agreed with me and said they should be doing it. So the lady (who was fantastic) made a call to someone, I'm guessing a casino host to get the resort fee waived. Who ever it was she spoke it was amazing, as not only did she remove the resort fee, she also comped 90% of our entire bill. Every night we ate at a different restaurant at a MGM property and charged everything to our room, including pool drinks and anything else. There was 2 nights our evening meal was over $400 each (one at Jean George's Steakhouse and the other at Gymkhana as we was drinking $35 glasses of wine during our meal). All that was wiped too. The only thing she couldn't remove was the tips and the drinks at the bar at Eataly (it was giving her an error message).

So overall for our 10 nights with all food and beverages, it cost us $546!!

The staff at Aria I found where excellent, well except for the lady who didn't want to waive our resort fee at the front desk. So make sure you pay a visit to the rewards desk at the Aria, I've always found them so helpful. Actually that reminds me, two days prior the same lady helped me with an issue with my 2-4-1 Gelato voucher at the Aria Patisserie as we bought two but when we went to pay she said there was no reward so we still paid full price which we wasn't fussed about, but we went to the rewards desk the day after to make sure it was activated and she said it was and that it was used, when we said we still got charged full price she actually gave us a service voucher which allowed us to have $50 ($25 per person) off our bill at any restaurant, which we used at Din Thai Fung. Customer service from the Aria reward desk is the best I've experienced and it's all thanks to one lady (I wish I knew what her name was now).

But anyway, a question for you all. What do people with Gold Tier status usually get offered and when can I get to see them? I'm still seeing the same offers as when I was Pearl (4 nights comp, discounted rate, $120 free play and $150 F&b credit, or if I choose park mgm then $250 f&b credit).
