Can anyone help me ID these rocks?

Can anyone help me ID these rocks? I bought a few hundred pounds of them as part of a large collection here in Montana, but am not sure where they were originally dug up. Striations of the cut surfaces are saw marks. They are hard, dense, and heavy.

Need help Iding what type of geodes these are

Trying to get an ID of what kind of geodes these are. The outer layers look like calcite with bands of copper green and small mica crystals, while to inside appears to be a grayish purple quartz, with some of the geodes having hollow centers.

Growing squash and potatoes in a compost bin.

When I was a kid growing up, the best, sweetest watermelons we harvested were always volunteers that grew from the compost bin. Now watermelons don't do as well here in northern Montana, but squash and potatoes do just fine. The first ripe zucchini I collect are from the plants I grow from the top of the compost bins.
