Was just in your fantastic city

Back in Glasgow for the first time in 11 years. Loved every second of it! Back home in Houston now, and I can’t wait to go back. We ate at, in order: Stravaigin, The Buttery, Ox & Finch, Margo, Paesano’s Pizza and Dishoom. Had fantastic meals at them all. Kelvingrove also was every bit the wonderful place it has always been.

My wife and I had been to Glasgow before, but for our friends from Austin, it was their first time in Scotland. Our mutual friends in Ayr came up and helped show them around as well.

The hospitality was perfect. The woman who ran our B&B on Islay said that Glasgow is a place with friendly people who have the time of day for you, unlike some other large cities in the country she could name. And she was right, as we knew she would be.

Thanks to Glasgow for making it a wonderful vacation.
