Unifi camera won’t create events in HKSV

Hi all, so far I have 2 of my Unifi cameras in Scrypted for testing, a G6 PTZ and a G6 Pro Entry. The Entry works great creating events and recordings in HKSV, but the PTZ doesn’t show any recordings. It’s set to stream and record and to create recordings/notifications for people and packages.

So far I have tried:
Turning on Motion Events in Unifi Protect
Removing and re-adding camera from HomeKit
Restarting Scrypted

Is there something I’m missing? All the settings seem to be correct.

iOS/homeOS 27 new features

Hi all, I have a full UniFi Protect setup with 9 cameras. I’m interested in some of the new features in iOS/homeOS 27 with HKSV (grouped notifications, AI summary, etc). Would using Scrypted be the right choice to get this working? My hope would be to disable notifications on the Protect app and only use it for management, and instead use the Home app for notifications/stream viewing. Now that it supports 4K cameras that’s a huge plus.

I assume these new HKSV features will work with cameras that are fed in via Scrypted since the UniFi plugin has good support? Is there anything else I need to know?

I want Linux back, but how do I handle Elgato products?

Hi all, first time posting here.

I’m looking to move back to Linux. I ran Ubuntu for a year back in 2020, but moved back to Windows because of a game with kernel level anti cheat. Now years later I’m looking to move back into Linux but I have one thing stopping me: Elgato.

I currently have a Streamdeck+ XL and a Wave XLR. I quite like both of them so I’m not at the point of selling them just to get something else that plays better with Linux (yet).

I know there are a few open source options for the Streamdeck which should work. I mainly use it for audio controls (with the dials), pc vitals monitoring and discord. The one thing I have not seen yet is a button to jump directly into a discord call (which is possible with the windows app + discord plugin), anyone know if that’s possible with Stream Controller or OpenDeck?

The major thing is the WaveXLR, I sit very close to my wife so I need to be able to tune the mic a lot so it doesn’t pick her up. So far WaveLink does a decent job of this with all the noise filtering and voice focus stuff. Is there a good alternative to WaveLink anyone can recommend? I don’t mind putting the effort into tuning the mic but I’m really not sure where to get started. Pipeweaver seems like a good option for multiple channels (game, browser, chat, etc).

As for distro I’m thinking Fedora KDE or Bazzite. I’m no stranger to Linux for sure so I’m worried Bazzite will be too limiting. I appreciate any input, thank you!
