We had another Dock Diving lesson yesterday, was scheduled for half hour, but we ended up doing a full hour, cause once she was on the big dock it all clicked, and Auryn was having blast!

I didn't get good videos, as I was busy throwing 😂 but a little bit.

BETTER YET! We're going back Saturday for our first event. Primarily I'm taking her for the exposure, cause she still gets easily distracted while we're on the dock, typical puppy behavior - look a bird! What's that noise? (It was a train horn 🙄😂) But our trainer is super excited to (hopefully) get her jumping. So perhaps her first competition, we shall see how it goes.

First ride, both dogs were just right on top of me, not used to all this space 🤣 but they're learning! Learning to spread out faster than they're learning to use that ramp 😂😭

So far - 9/10, do recommend!

This bunny is Phei, he is a senior, and is starting to slow down/show definite signs of age.

As a result he misses out on treats sometimes, whether that'd be cause he's too slow/doesn't even move to go for it, or because some of the chickens will bully him out of the way. (He's the sweetest soul, a lover, never was a fighter, we will be DEVASTATED when the terrible day comes)

Auryn has made it her mission to guard him while he snacks on treats. She watches the chickens like a hawk, and will chase them off if they should go after sweet Phei Phei. Only time she ever chases chickens. 🥰 She's just the sweetest. Two sweet souls ♥️

I took my shoes off while eating my lunch (at my desk), and Auryn, being the opportunist that she is, immediately made use of it, I guess.

Went to slide my feet back into my shoes, found one is missing... 😑

... This week Miss Auryn has decided she doesn't want to eat her treats. Instead, we find them.... Everywhere. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

FINALLY! Life has been crazy, hectic between work and life (had a graduate this year 🎉🎓), and the facility is an hour drive each way, with no lessons on the weekends, so it took a bit more... but I finally have our first official dock diving lesson scheduled for Monday! I'm so excited, I hope Auryn will take to it!! The facility we're booking with has an indoor and an outdoor facility (two different locations, but each about an hour drive), so if she takes to it, we can do this year round, keep building skills even in the dead of winter.

Now it's just wait and see how she does, and what the trainer has to say.

This is how Buster wakes up most days, waking with the pressures of having to pay the mortgage, put food on the table, change the oil in the cars, call the farrier, keep the livestock save, walk around the office (at work) for 8 hours like he's the owner and getting pets from everyone, bark at the ducks in the field, chase squirrels around the woods .......

I just wish I could provide him an easier life, y'all. 😭💀

(perhaps first, first sighting, rather, filled the feeders over the weekend, just happened to be working from home yesterday, saw this little one come by 🥰)

Bubby's opinion is - if you threw it, you can damn well go get it yourself. 😂

Auryn's latest 'I'm dying of attention starvation' stunt, anytime I sit down (I normally stand at my desk), ESPECIALLY if I'm in a zoom.
