Guys I did it. I finally managed to stare a guy into realizing his question was stupid. He even apologized for being dumb.

He asked if he could get an item that has a 2 for $6 deal but only pay $3 for 1.

Does anyone else think that if cliff got some more actual combat experience he could be a legit monster? I mean his spell repertoire is pretty insane and he has pretty good mana reserves for a normal human. If he wasn't surrounded by power houses and did some adventuring/getting into fights so he could learn real combat he could be a top tier fighter. I feel like he got the gohan potential treatment as far as combat goes tbh

So last night, I had a very drunk old guy (60+ yo) come in to buy more beer. I refused to sell him anymore since he literally couldn't stand without leaning on something. Que the nursing and the "i've been drinking since before you were born" bs. So we start exchanging insults because I was in the mood to tell someone to go fuck themselves anyways. Then all of a sudden the guy stopped yelling, grabbed his chest and dropped like a sack of potatoes.

So I call 911 and started doing what they told me. Check pulse, check if he was breathing and do chest compressions. The ambulance git there pretty quick and the emts took over, and took him to the hospital.

Just got done dealing with the cops for this one. Had a girl in she's about 25. She was trying to make up her mind on what bottle to buy when an old guy, maybe 50ish, walked up behind her. Right as I was telling him to back tf up, he grabbed a handful of her ass. Before I could even react, she knocked him tf out. We called the cops. I had to wake my manager up to get the video. He went to jail. I wanna get off this ride

In the last 2 weeks, I have had to kick out over a dozen 40+ year old men for saying creepy shit to the college girls that come in. Tonight, I just had a girl come in at 12:01 am. to buy her first beer. After I sold it to her, she got all excited and started doing that, like half jumping things people do, and this old dude behind her said damn girl that ass should be a war crime. He wal old enough to be her grandpa. She got real quiet and kind of shrunk in on herself, and I gave him that "you POS" stare then told him to leave. We argued for a bit, some words were said and he left. After he left she left while I watched her walk to her car to make sure she was left alone. That girl will probably never come back here now.

So it's night 3 of training my new overnight counterpart. He asks all of the right questions. He wants to know the process enough to deal with any problems he comes across. He knows what issues are actual emergencies vs what can be brought up later or just a text. I have high hopes for this guy. I don't think I'll be getting many late night calls on my days off in the future anymore.

I was in the back doing some dishes, and I heard my doorbell go off. I hollered "be right there," then finished up the dish in my hands and headed up front to deal with the customer. I smelled the guy from 20 feet away. The smell coming off him was a mix of piss and rotten cheese. I managed to nit puke and get him checked out, then headed straight to the back room to was my hands and continue doing my dishes. 5 minutes later, my bell goes off as I finish my last dish, so I head back up front. There was a girl gagging because the smell was still lingering. I explained the smell to her and she went off to get her stiluff while I febreezed tf out of the store.

Also, if you do get some febreeze, the new limited time warm ocean breeze one smells awesome

So I have a regular Mexican guy named adolfo who comes in for cigarettes and snacks. He can understand/speak some English, and I can understand/speak some Spanish. Over the years, we have come to use Spanish and English interchangeably. Like 1-2 words in English, then 1-2 words in Spanish but without breaks, so it's basically seamless sentences in 2 languages.

A lady just witnessed this and she didn't say anything in front of him but after he left she asked me wtf that was. I explained to her what I wrote above, and she was flabbergasted. According to her, what we have managed to do is harder than just learning the actual languages. Lol

I did 852 transactions in 4 hours. IDEK how I pulled it off

I was chillin, I had 1 hour left on my shift, 1 homeless guy was getting some coffee. This 20is year old guy comes riding in on his bike and parks it in the store, a prick move but whatever. The homeless guy buys his coffee and goes to leave. Idk what was said at first but the homeless guy went to walk by the younger guy and the younger guy flipped the fuck out. After some posturing and chest beating the 2 walked away from each other while still talking shit when I told em to just leave each other alone.

I thought that was it and it was done but then rhe younger guy started yelling at the homeless guy again so the argument reignited. Round 2 ended with the young guy threatening to shoot the homeless man. Luckily me reminding him he was on camera got him to fuck off in a hurry.

I asked the homeless man if he wanted to file a report with police and he said no. We don't have a policy requiring me to call as long as no weapons were pulled and no one got hurt so I didn't call them. So I surprised both of us when several cops came flying into my parking lot and rushed into the store. They were also confused because they had gotten a call about an assault happening in my store. We gave our end of the story to the cops and I showed them the security footage to prove our end.

Apparently the guy got 1 block away and decided to call the police about the altercation he started. Idk how it ended for him but as soon as the cops got my and the homeless guys side of the story they left.
