Roomate/brother in law
Backstory…. My husband (24) and I (21) had my brother in law (30) to move into our 2 bed 2 bath apartment after my husband loosing his job and he being kicked out of his parents house. He has been living with us for a year now and the bathroom did not look this bad before hand. My brother in law, lets call him Jack (fake name) makes more than enough to support him self, he probably makes close to 65k a year, witch is decent because we live in South Dakota. Jack only pays $650 for rent and doesn’t supply any cleaning or most groceries. We are in a better spot financially now, we are just waiting for Jack to find his own first apartment.
Should I tell him that he needs to clean up his bathroom? His bathroom is the one that guest use since the other one is connected to our room. He does work 2 job maybe 50 hours a week. I do all the cleaning multiple times a week in the kitchen and living room. Mind you, he doesn’t use the living room because when he is home, he just plays video games. He rarely goes out.
Im getting really irritated that he “doesn’t” see the issue here. How do I even bring this up without being a jackass?
