They have had a few stinkers, especially the grandmother singing, but the new one is good

Why is a 100m long cycle lane to nowhere being added between Scoil Ide and Munchins? There must be a meter target of cycle lanes to add so they just decided why not stick one there. I'm not against cycle lanes; I think a lot of them added around the city are great, but this makes absolutely no sense. Surely a better use of that land would have been a safer drop-off for kids going to Scoil Ide. You'd wonder who is giving and getting the contracts for doing these.
