R Lot Parking Waitlist

I’m living on campus this year so I signed up for the R Lot parking waitlist but my spot is 263, does anyone know roughly how many spots get on? also is there any meaning to prioritized vs not prioritized?

Follow up to last post: Summiting mount logan at 18

The trip would be in may of next year and I have all the resources to train from now until then, however I will be working full time during this summer and then I have school (UBCO) for fall and spring. I’m just wondering what kind of rough training regimen I should follow to get into athletic shape. Mount logan isn’t the most technical from what i’ve heard but it takes raw muscle endurance, cardio, and mental strength.

I’m 18 and want to do mount logan

Ok for some context, I am fairly athletic but not crazy athletic at the moment. I love hiking, I used to rock climb a bit and I ice climb a bit, and a backpack quite a lot. I’m new to mountaineering, never done glacier travel, and don’t have any high summits. I live in calgary near the canadian rockies, and this summer I will be summiting mount temple fairly soon, then athabasca, then I will be doing mount assiniboine in 3 days at the end of the summer (30km backpack in, 10 hour summit, 30km backpack out). I am also very good at back country skiing, but have never winter camped before.

I also go to university in kelowna at UBCO, so I’m semi near the mountains, and have access to a gym, and next year I’ll be studying my second year of computer science.

I know it sounds crazy that I want to do mount logan, and I know it’s 15k per person, but I am able to go because of my dad. He is an expert mountaineer, summited mountains all over the world (hundreds including patagonia and himalayas). He will be teaching me a lot of the technical stuff this summer.

What I am wondering is how possible is it for me to come one this trip with my dad to summit mount logan for 3.5 weeks next may. My dad has told me it’s doable as long as I am training 7 days a week for the next 12 months whether it’s strength training or cardio or ruck sack days. I’m concerned about my ability to balance training with school, and to get to the right ability level by next may.

All I want is some thoughts on this.
