I purchased an open box pc a day ago. The computer operates normally, passed a stress test. The power supply units fan is having some issues. It start/stops, spins for a minute stops then attempts again. It’s also making a mechanical tapping noise. I’m certain the fan bearing is damaged and the power supply itself will have to be replaced as a precaution for an impending failure. I don’t want to return the unit itself since it’s fully functional besides the power supply fan. I have the 3 year adh gsp but I don’t want to immediately use it if I don’t have to. I have no issues swapping and installing the power supply myself as long as it doesn’t void the gsp plan. But if I have to use it so be it.
