In one scene of the film, a gunman enters a kindergarten classroom and opens fire on an entire class. The teacher in the adjacent room realizes that the attacker may soon reach her own students. She instructs her class to close their eyes and only open them when she gives permission.
She then leads the children into the recently attacked classroom, counts them, and realizes that one girl is missing—presumably dead.
