I wanted every page to look like this, not just one app

I kept seeing glass designs and wishing the whole web looked that way, not just one app on a phone.

So I built it to work on any site, not on a list of sites. It reads the styling a page already ships with and rewrites it, so the panels, buttons and boxes turn translucent and blurred over your wallpaper - including on sites I have never seen and never will.

It only steps in when a page is plain white, grey or black. Sites that already have their own design are left alone on purpose.

Screenshots are Google and reddit feel free to try on other sites as well.. i personally cant try every site so far experience is good for me if u find anything annoying or bothering please go ahead and report it in extension

Making a logo based off Liquid Glass

I like how Liquid Glass features glass but I think making everything glass isn't a good design choice. Using more materials like acrylic, paper, plastic would probably make it look more complete. Plus I think the existing logos are made in photoshop but it makes more sense to make it in a 3D renderer so that the light interacts more realistically. I used path tracing for this logo and it looks much better than ordinary glass blur transparency.

[OS] My fuzzy Launcher finally integrates Liquid Glass

When Apple first introduced the "liquid glass" effect, opinions were quite divided; some criticized its visibility, others admired its aesthetics, and some worried about battery life.

I remained fairly neutral, I found it interesting though.
To be honest, the Apple apps featuring this effect were quite buggy at launch.

Now that it has stabilized and the bugs have been ironed out, I’ve implemented it in my own app, and I think it looks great and modern. Here is the Repo
It’s just a custom theme (since I know many people don't like it), so it can easily be turned off.

Icons animate in response to certain changes, and the background, which looks as if viewed through a layer of glass and clear liquid, offers a pleasing, relaxing visual experience.

I haven't encountered significant issues with app performance or battery life, though I'm curious what others think. :)

PS: App is notarized

Can someone help me with TLC? How do I get my widgets to become transparent also how can I change the shape of icons?

The icons I add only come out as circles. The bigger I make them they turn into squircles but I want a squircle at that size. Also how do I make my widgets fade into panels?

Sorry I'm new to android. Thank you.

Edit: wait does tlc not work on folds? :( seems to not be working on my inner screen :(

So this is how bad it gets hm?

I’m a huge liquid glass apologist right, but I can’t help but get shocked the first time I saw the flaws in its design especially in this very niche but not impossible situation wherein the background is just fully white.

PS. This happened during a video call wherein they were screen sharing a white screen and for some reason they were streaming with HDR

You can now remove the Liquid Glass and make your iPhone incredibly light again I tried it on my iPhone SE 3 and became very light and the battery life improved!! Please follow all the tips to get the same result

  1. Open accessibility, and turn ON reduce motion.

This'll obviously be yucky for now.

  1. Go back to the main accessibility page, scroll down, and tap "per app settings".

  2. Select an app, and select "Home Screen and App Library". Then enter its settings.

  3. Set Home and lock screen's reduce motion setting to OFF. Liquid Glass will be back, except...

  4. Restart. Profit!

One more thing

Get rid of the ugly uneven highlights on the dock, folders, and CC: Navigate back to the Home Screen and App Library accessibility settings and put "Show Borders" to ON

iOS 27 DB 5 & iOS 26.6, Liquid Glass changes

I think iOS 26.6 was better btw
(Liquid Glass slider on max clear)

27 DB5: Wake upp, the glass is glass-ing

Black borders have been softened. They seem to increase the HDR highlight too, similar to macOS. The hazy effect before will now start to appear from the middle of the glass slider to the max opaque
