I'm looking to insulate and finish my basement, which is currently just bare concrete walls. I was planning to go with a rigid foam board, but no matter what, I would have to put up a full-stud wall to run my electrical through it. I guess I'm just wondering if I should sacrifice some space and do both the foam board and the stud wall, or just do the stud wall and use batt insulation and a traditional plastic vapour barrier over it to save some space? Thoughts?
