How to you even scale the AB universe

How do people even scale the Animator vs. Animation universe? The more I think about it, the more confusing it gets.

The main issue is that the series constantly interacts with games and websites like League of Legends, Minecraft, and Super Mario Bros.. That creates a weird scaling problem because if you take everything at face value, the characters suddenly scale to things like League champions, Mario characters, and even Minecraft Steve, who is already absurdly broken when scaled seriously.

That’s why scaling characters like The Chosen One gives me a headache. Do we take feats like destroying websites with The Dark Lord literally? Are those websites supposed to be full universes, or are they just digital spaces and visual metaphors? Because depending on the answer, the scaling changes massively.

I’ve heard people throw around “multiversal” or even “omniversal,” but personally, I think that’s pushing it. Unless Alan Becker explicitly confirmed that websites count as universes, I think it’s more of a case-by-case thing.

And if you don’t count any website as a universe, the scaling drops a lot. At that point, I’d probably put The Chosen One somewhere around large city to maybe country level, especially since he often seems to hold back. The problem is that the series is extremely inconsistent, which makes hard scaling difficult.

Part of why this discussion got bigger is because Alan Becker’s work became way more mainstream. People constantly request matchups like The Second Coming vs Henry Stickmin for Death Battle, they even been talking about King Orange vs Asriel Dreemurr. ( Which is a way better matchup in imo)

The whole verse is just strange to scale because it mixes animation logic, game logic, and internet logic all together. The more seriously you try to scale it, the messier it becomes.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 3 is something we really need, but there are a few major things it has to get right.

First, the price. One of the biggest issues with the first game was that it felt way too expensive for the amount of content it had. I picked up nasb1 for around $15 on sale, and honestly, that felt fair. I’ve thought about getting All-Star Brawl 2, but the price is still a big reason I haven’t. At $60, it’s just not worth it when you can get something like Smash instead.

If they want more people to actually try the game, it should be priced lower, like $20–$30. That makes it feel like a solid alternative rather than a risky purchase. More players trying it means a bigger community, which helps the game long-term anyway.

Next is the roster. This is a huge problem for me. The main reason I haven’t bought All-Star Brawl 2 is because so many characters I played are gone. I used CatDog, Leonardo, and Oblina, and all three were cut. That means I’d have to completely relearn the game with new mains, which is a tough sell.

Cuts are understandable sometimes, but they need to prioritize bringing back fan-favorite characters. CatDog and all the Ninja Turtles should absolutely return. Oblina too, though I might be a bit biased there. Characters like Shredder would also be a great addition, instead of Rocksteady( I hate him)

They should also expand the roster with more iconic characters. Timmy Turner is an obvious one. Master Splinter would be great. Clyde from The Loud House could work too. And adding more Jimmy Neutron characters would help round things out. The roster should feel like a true celebration of Nickelodeon, not a random mix. Or thay can pull an everyone is here

As for content, the story mode needs improvement. All-Star Brawl 2 had a decent foundation, but it needs to be expanded and polished. Adding more modes would also go a long way. Something like target practice or other side challenges would help make the game feel more complete.

A Subspace Emissary-style mode would be amazing, with a full crossover story and cutscenes. Realistically, that might be too expensive given the budget, but even a scaled-down version with stylized visuals and some more voice acting would be a huge step up.

Overall, the game doesn’t need to compete directly with bigger titles. It just needs to lean into what makes it unique: a fun, chaotic Nickelodeon crossover with strong character representation and solid content. If they can get that right, it could really stand out.
