New to NASB2, but platform fighters aren't new to me. I played the first game back in 2022, been playing Smash since I was a kid, and used to sink hours into Brawlhalla. I even tried Multiversus which is a trash ass game.

Anyway, I'm struggling in ranked. I'm at Gold 2, and these are the characters that give me a hard time. I play Jenny, and despite her being a zoner (according to Supercombo Wiki), zoning them out doesn't help much. So how do you beat them?

Azula: What tilts me the most is her down special because the range is insane! On some stages, it can fill the whole screen! Then there's her crazy pressure.

Patrick: Most people like to spam his command grab. Despite my best efforts to play keep away, he manages to get in and get me.

Squidward: This fucker has everything.

El Tigre: I can't tell who's worse. Azula, or this fucker. He's a glass cannon, but in the right hands, he's VERY HARD to pin down. The last El Tigre I fought made me want to tear my hair out with all the nonstop running, jumping, combos, and juggling. I almost beat him though because both of us were down to 1 stock.

I played a couple of 2v2 matches, but then at new lobby matches, theres different users being Player 1 at the select screen that are AFK, they never pick a character, all other 3 are ready but they are AFK, we can not kick them, and everytime you search another lobby you get the same with the AFK player(s).

I have screenshot of their names but sharing is against rules.

i just played the game for the first time with my friends and we had so much fun but we cant find random online matches at all no matter how long we search for. how can we resolve this?

Hello, Im interested in buying the game, I know the Steam playerbase is very small but game has crossplay, so I guess that balances it. How are the queue times in-game?

Also, I think NASB2 was on playstation plus or something this month or the past month, and cuz of that it increased the playerbase a little. What was the queue times before that?

It would be pretty boring to just play with bots/arcade.
