November 23-26th

Planning a surprise birthday trip for my hubby. Northern lights are on our bucket list.

I’ve read November can be cloudy. I’m hopeful we get lucky.

Should I wait to book a three night tour until it’s closer and we can see more of the predicted weather forecast? Also - the tour company is advertising ice fishing and snow mobility but I’ve read lakes aren’t fully frozen over at that time.

I have a hotel booked but I’m getting the sense I should hold out on booking excursions

Klarna Fraud- May 8th

Ok as everyone knows Klarna said they weren’t hacked but had some sort of software glitch widely affecting customers.

Personally, an old card was somehow reauthorized and a charged. I got a notification my payment was past due. And paid it before realizing it was an unauthorized charge.

I immediately disputed through the app and opened an investigation which stated it could take three weeks. Today I looked in the app and they DECLINED my problem request. I called- and this is what the rep said.

He said Klarna is aware of the widespread issue affecting most customers that happened on May 8th. They have no solutions as of yet because it’s such a big problem but please be patient they are looking into it.

I’m sorry but what? You denied my problem request … after “investigating” after admitting this is a know problem and Klarna taking responsibility of the problem?

I told them they should not be denying in writing if it’s something they are aware of and working for a solution towards.

I’m 100% disputing through my bank. This is terrible customer service. It’s been weeks this should be resolved by now.

Klarna Hacked?

I saw a post last week of new cards being created and Klarna saying they somehow had a system glitch where old cards auto created and charged.

I had freaked out and didn’t want my credit to take a ding. So I thought I had an overdue payment and immediately paid.

However then I said wtf is this. And I disputed and realized it was a scam.

I disputed before the payment had gone through and four days later they took my money.

I did not make the purchase in the first place.

Has anyone got a refund for these disputes. Should I dispute through my bank? I’m like wtf Klarna. If you acknowledge you are compromised why tf did you take my money.

Frustrated. Have you got your refunds yet?
