I teach in DDSB at a school that I reeeeaaally love. I’m going into my 6th year teaching, 5th as a permanent teacher so I’ve built up a bit of seniority.

I’m feeling priced out of Southern Ontario, maybe Ontario as a whole. I feel like I’ll never be able to afford to exist comfortably if I stay here, but I’m worried about giving up the security (and enjoyment) of working where I do now.

Has anyone given up seniority by moving boards, and if so, was it worth it or did you have regrets?
