Cleaned my fridge
I know it does not sound like a big deal, but I found two sauce containers from 2020!
Cleared out, scrubbed, and reorganized.
Next up freezer - maybe tomorrow.

I am about 40 km from two major fires, one to the north and one to the south.
Today, I ensured my car was filled with gas and fluids.
I packed a small bag with necessities to grab-and-go and important papers.
In the meantime, I bought groceries to last a couple of weeks and have already noticed the supply chain has been affected. My plan is to be prepared on a moment's notice, but also to be able to lock down my home for the next couple of weeks because of the smoke and emergency response activity.
I also picked up some books to read, candles, and prepared emergency items in case the power goes out. Such as freezing bottles of water in the freezer, organizing items so I can find them, etc.
I am by myself as my partner is up north. So I am planning to take some time out to declutter and clean my home. Spend some time reflecting on what is important. I am an introvert - so I don't mind being alone.
I know this sounds simple, but for me, I am constantly working on my projects (research, writing, and submitting papers). When I do projects, I get lost in them and can work on them for hours, hyperfocused. It is a blessing and a curse.
In fact, it has taken over my life.
My new schedule allows me to work on one paper for X amount of time. I have also scheduled in work (about 3 hours a day), exercise, journaling, reading, art projects (which I have neglected), laundry, cooking, and cleaning my house.
Today, I followed the schedule. I even started cleaning my fridge (which I will finish today).
Now, today, we shall see how it goes.
I've found a secret treasure in the bug spray aisle from Dollarama.
I'm stoked to upcycle this candle as a plant pot once the wax disappears.
