Tried new design
What do you think guys? Too simple? Also as an experiment I sanded the top of it to 1000 grit.

Restored it to make a gift for my head of HR, cause it's a fireman's axe, and she fires people hahaha. Cold-blued the head.
Punish me but I like to make simple boards! :) Pure cherry
Dear Axe Profies, could you kindly consult me? I have an axe to restore (actually in half-way), I suspect it might be the Billnäs # 41 "Pietari". But to me it has a slight difference with the original model. Could you kindly confirm or disprove? :)
Not my type of cutting boards, I mostly make endgrain, but had a really nice walnut offcut, so decided to try. Too simple?
I know, there are little flaws with inlay fitting, fixed with thin wooden stripes and CA, next time will do better! But wdyt of the design?
Finally finished my next Billnas. Handmade ash handle and leather sheath. Slowly improving my skills of sharpening and polishing. Next time will make it better with more precise handle fitting. WDYT?
Was trying to repurpose the offcuts from my 3d butterfly boards. What do you think of the design?
Made 3D Cube cutting board for the first time. Can't tell I love the process - too many offcuts.
Made few butterfly boards, this time used cherry instead of walnut, and I really like more tender contrast. Wdyt?
My little bragging post to state that the achievement unlocked - I have sold few boards on the local fair :)
Now all done, made sheath and few nice photos :)
This is definitely wallhanger - really old Ukrainian so called 'Horbach'. Ash handle, reverse hanging. And I feel my sheath making skills are growing ))
...so this is how I shape my handles :) And how you do it guys?
Fancier photos later ) Tried to reproduce the original handle. Anyone knows possible production date? It was completely filled with some epoxy compound from the top. The original handle was splitted, so had to replace.
Wanted to make few simple boards, but ended up with experimenting with inlays, took some time. Made cuts for inlays with table saw, nothing complicated, but I like the result
