Next week I’ll be working 40 hours and I’ve picked up a memorial day shift. I understand that it would be holiday pay (time and a half) + 8 hrs of pay. (I am a union store idk if that matters in context). Working the holiday would put me at 52 hours that week. (4hrs opened + the 8 hrs) would this mean I get 12 hours of overtime pay? or 8? or none at all?

Example:
4 hrs holiday pay + 8 hrs over time OR
4 hrs & 8 hrs holiday pay and over time (x3 pay) OR
4 hrs holiday pay + 8 hrs at regular rate even with me being over 40.

Any insight would help! Sorry if this post is convoluted lol.
