Its crazy how every football team in this world cup absolutely adore and acknowledge their fans meanwhile Indian cricket fans are taken for granted since time immemorial.
Maybe its the hero worship culture or the fact that Indian cricket fans would show up no matter what. Even other nation cricket teams acknowledge their fans but I dont think it can ever match the levels of connection between fans and players in football. It should be a curt reminder to every one that cricket in India it is what it is due to fans, without fans cricket would meet the same fate as hockey in India.
