Built a diver watch inspired by my orange cat, Eratosthenes 🐈

Hello from Chile 🇨🇱

This is one of my personal builds, inspired by my orange cat Eratosthenes — my longtime companion.

I wanted a diver with warm orange accents to reflect his colors and personality.

The build uses a Captain Willard / turtle-style diver case with a Miyota 2035 quartz movement. I added my personal fox emblem on the dial and went for a simple, functional layout.

The seconds hand was painted matte white to create contrast against the black dial and also to match the white fur of my cat.

Sometimes quartz gets overlooked in modding, but I enjoy building practical watches that are reliable and easy to live with.

The second photo is the boss himself 😄

Custom 3-time-zone GMT build – Ronda 515.24H + personal fox emblem

Hello from Chile 🇨🇱

This is one of my personal GMT builds.

SKX007-style case, Coke bezel and a Ronda 515.24H quartz GMT movement. I designed it to track three time zones at once.

The main hands show my local time, the GMT hand tracks a second city, and the rotating 24h bezel lets me follow a third one.

The fox on the dial is my personal emblem, so this build feels especially personal to me.

I enjoy practical quartz watches and unusual projects that are not very common in the modding world.

The lume turned out surprisingly good, and the red GMT hand gives just enough contrast against the black dial.

My stealth SKX-style build – Miyota 2035 + velvet dial

Hello from Chile 🇨🇱

This is one of my personal custom builds.

SKX007-style case with a Miyota 2035 quartz movement, matte “velvet” black dial and a red seconds hand for contrast and a bit more life.

I wanted something simple, dark and functional — almost like a field/pilot watch with a stealth look.

Sometimes quartz gets ignored in modding, but I really enjoy building practical watches that just work.

My custom 7120 build – Peacock dial + sapphire + 316L steel

Hello from Chile 🇨🇱

This is one of my personal custom builds.

I used a Seagull 7120 movement with a peacock dial that I really liked because of the texture and subtle details. The case is 316L stainless steel with a sapphire crystal.

I paired it with a dark leather strap for a softer, more organic look. I wanted something simple, elegant and a bit different from the usual dive watch style.

Still learning watchmaking as a hobby, but I’m happy with how this one turned out.
