Need help understanding page 29 of Leavitt Modern Method for Guitar Vol 2
Hey everyone,
I’m currently working through page 29 of Volume 2 of William Leavitt’s A Modern Method for Guitar and I’m struggling a bit with the D triad section.
I’m especially confused about:
1.the fingering choices Leavitt suggests
2.how and when the position shifts are supposed to feel/ occur
3.why certain triads use repeated fingerings that seem awkward at first
4.how to practice the page efficiently without getting lost
If anyone here studied at Berklee or has worked deeply through the Modern Method series, I’d really appreciate any explanation, fingering advice, or practice tips. Even a short video or picture explanation would help a lot.
Thanks!
