Hello everyone, I am in a bind. So this fall semester I will be attending UNM. I will be staying at lobo village and I was wondering is it worth buying a parking permit for campus parking or no. I heard that there a shuttle that passes by every 15 minutes at lobo village and takes you directly to UNM. What should I do?

Hey everyone! I’m a 19F and I’ll be starting at UNM this fall. I’m really excited but also a bit nervous because I’ve heard some things about the campus and the area. Some people say that house parties can get dangerous and that the neighborhood around campus isn’t the safest. Since I love to party, I’m curious—what’s the real party scene like at UNM? Also, I’ll be living in Lobo Village. What’s your experience with it? Did I make a good choice moving there? Any tips for making the most of my time at UNM and staying safe? Also what are some fun events throughout the and what are some fun things to do in Albuquerque.
