So, this is the second time this is happened. When it happened the first time, I thought it was just some big rock bounced back from the undercarriage, but today it happened again on a HWY all the sudden I hear a large Bang, it sounded like maybe spring mechanism popped or a big rock hit the bottom of the car. Any ideas what it is?

So, I received a letter from GM today. At first I thought it was a recall, but it's not. It states that if you think you have an issue with a coolant hose leaking you can call your dealer and see if they can check and fix it. Last winter, I did experience some coolant smell inside the truck and also during winter the smell coming from under the vehicle mid or the back side, reminded me of ammonia. Since the smell disappeared I didn't bother with it. Now I am thinking I should get the vehicle in.
