Before I leave this shit
I wanna point out how stupid the platform has become. Partly because of the moderation, and what is allowed, what isn't allowed. And also how easily people get offended, if someone voices an opinion that isn't "mainstream" enough for any given period.
I see a post with a man on a TV show that fucks it up because he was anxious, suddenly the post has 12k likes and people bombard the guy in the comments: "HOW CAN HE BE SOOOO STUPIIIID" "CAN ANYONE BE THIS STUPIIIID ?".
I see a post about Nolan's film The Odyssey, and how people are mad because the actress that plays Helen of Troy is black. And then I see people getting mad and calling others racist because they distaste the role to be played by a black person. Insanity...
Do you understand, that fundamentally, people are so fucking stupid here? Like their judgment regarding many topics over what is right or wrong, fails completely. I could name many instances where I am looking at a post and I am reading the comments and I am like.... what the fuck am I reading? Genuinely, I am starting to become a misanthrope.
Also, why are so many people on this platform dickriding trans people like there’s no tomorrow?
