A few months ago, Athanor had a pretty big influx of Guardians. For a while there were raids happening constantly, new people meeting each other, PvP sessions, people teaching newer players and familiar names starting to appear and even a tourny

Things are quieter at the moment. People are busy, some are taking breaks, and that's just the natural rhythm of a community.

Rather than coming here trying to fill the server with another wave of numbers, I think Imma put this out there for the people who might actually be looking for what we're building.

Look, we're trying to make it more than a bridge between you and your next LFG.

LFG is brilliant when you need five people for a raid but there's something different about loading in and already knowing the people you're playing with.

You remember who always dies to the same stupid thing. You develop rivalries in Crucible. Someone you once taught a raid starts teaching somebody else.

Eventually you're not assembling six random players anymore.

You're asking if the usual lot are around.

That's the side of Destiny we've been trying to create space for.

Eventually you stop looking at everyone as another slot in the fireteam & you know them.

That's what I'd like to build more of.

And at the moment, that means starting from where we actually are.

If you're looking for a server that's packed every hour of the day, I can't promise you that.

What I can offer is a place we're actively trying to grow into something more personal something LFG can't really give you. (They serve their purpose incredibly well.)

PART 1: YOUR FIRST CHARACTER
If this is your FIRST time playing Destiny 1:

Do NOT instantly boost to Level 40.

Play naturally first.

Experience:
• Vanilla Destiny
• The Dark Below
• House of Wolves
• The Taken King
• Rise of Iron

You will naturally learn:

• currencies
• subclasses
• upgrading
• activities
• raids
• progression systems

The game feels far better this way.

THE MOST IMPORTANT ENGRAM RULE

⚠️ NEVER spam decrypt engrams.

Always:

1️⃣ Equip your highest Light gear FIRST
2️⃣ Decode ONE engram
3️⃣ If it is higher → equip immediately
4️⃣ THEN decode the next engram

Drops scale from your CURRENT equipped Light.

Example:

Decode boots → equip them
Decode helmet → equip it
Decode weapon → equip it

THEN continue.

This matters massively.

Location anyone? For those of you that don't know you can go onto DIM and check vendors and see what he's selling but where is the fun in that?!?

People here are still running raids, Prison of Elders, Crucible, private matches, challenge runs, tournaments (no prizes), exotic grinds, and random late night sessions like the game is new.

Some of the best moments have honestly come from complete randoms meeting each other through the server and ending up running together constantly afterwards.

That is the part people miss when they only look at LFG.

There are rivalries here.
Inside jokes.
Recognisable names.
Players teaching others.
Fireteams forming naturally.
