Kinsect slash parry timing?

So I've been tinkering with the kinsect slash style and... I don't know when the parry window starts and ends.

Obviously it isn't the beginning when you pull back for a bit before dashing forward. Then I thought it was during the dash, but sometimes I still get hit even though I was dashing. There were also times when I get the parry just at the preparation pose.

It's so confusing. Do I block things with the timing like I would with water strike or it's more on par with the Lance instablock?

Why is the gap between Mayhem 2 & 4 so huge?

So I'm at level 60 with a MNTIS cannon and Digi-clone Zane, trying to do the Slaughter Shaft thing. I managed to clear most of them rather easily at Mayhem 1-3, but once I got to Mayhem 4, I literally get melted in 2 seconds. I don't know what hit me, just that it can take away 30k worth of shields and health in practically a split second, which has never happened before. I've tried to dodge and stay away from most shit but that still happens every once in a while. I have yet to clear the final wave at Mayhem 4.

Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be that way? If it's designed that way, how the hell are you supposed to stay alive in this?

Skywell 27 shield breaks?

I've just got to Skywell 27 with the main story, and for whatever reason, everytime I use my skills, my shield breaks, even when it's full. I'm using Zane with the drone and arm cannon.

Is that by design? Or is that a bug? Or would something I've equipped cause it?

Edit: Thanks guys! Just checked my mod and it is indeed the Infiltrator mod that's causing this! I came across it and equipped it without much thought, scared me shitless there.

How's the Moondrop Robin's isolation and ANC?

I've been using the jabra 85t for a couple years and unfortunately the battery is dying. Been looking for earbuds with better sound quality recently.

Previously tried the soundpeats h3. Loved the sound but hated the fact that I could hear practically everything when I was outside, so I sold it. Also the connection was kinda shit.

I've been using kiwi ears cadenza and I realized that, barring maybe some really low frequency sounds, the IEMs actually do a better job of blocking out noise than even my Jabras. So I was wondering if the Moondrop Robin, coming from an IEM company, would do better in terms of isolation? I really love the IEMs but having cables can be such a hassle at times.

Has anyone had any firsthand experience on this? I don't need it to be completely quiet but I'd like to at least not hear someone talking on the train.
