Late to the party, but after listening to “As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again” a bunch, I was struck by the haunting and beautiful backing vocals and harmonies.

Especially on ‘Don’t Go To The Woods’ and ‘The Black Maria’.

So I did a little digging and found the vocalist is Elizabeth ‘Lizzy ‘ Ellison. Her voice is spectacular and really makes me fall in love with those songs more and more, every time I listen.

I did a little search here and didn’t see much about her so I thought I’d do an appreciation post for her. Such a beautiful and haunting voice. Really stands out for me.
