r/Decemberists

Just curious, as I was watching The French Dispatch again, and heard the word “picaresque”, in possibly the only other setting I’ve encountered it in popular culture - how many Decemberists fans also dig Wes Anderson movies? They both take such distinct sensibilities- curious if there is overlap.

I saw this "fact of the day" on another sub, and thought of you all!

"Sorry, was out gardening, I am such an old man. On this day in 1803 the reaping machine was patented, no idea what it is but sounds devastating."

It'll be interesting to see how all three books are blended. I'm cautiously optimistic. The animation is INCREDIBLE, as we have come to expect from Laika.
