Can a therapy work when a therapist and patient are coming from different worlds ?

Hey everyone , I had an interesting discussion yesterday with someone about this. Obviously ,there are a few things that all human beings share in common, the way that the body reacts to anxiety ,feelings ,and etc. But when you dive in deeper and it's also been discussed in modern psychology ,the cultural gaps between people make a huge difference and impacts about how they view things ,react to them ,and experience them. Things like culture ,religious beliefs ,cultural codes and I can continue all these things effect about how we view things in every aspect of our life and shaping our inner world Now let's say that a person comes from the middle east ,and he goes to a therapy with a psychologist from western countries (Europe ,USA) . The difference between then can be an obstacle in therapy ? Because the person I have been talking to thinks that's its impossible

Hey ,what are the origins of Circaccians ?

If someone is familiar with this group,I'm guessing that you already know that they are from the Caucasian area with deep roots in it. But I have been thinking for a while ,what are thier origins? For example,I have been searching information about this previously on Google and Wikipedia and one opinion says they are related to the ancient Hattians. Plus ,there are genetic tests nowadays that are tracing people's origins back to the land they came from, based on chromosome y ,it never changes with males( theses tests are even credible ?) . Here is an interesting link: https://circassianweb.com/blog/circassian-dna

As you can see ,the chromosome j(both 1 and 2 ) do exist among circaccians , that type traces people to the levant. How did this gene come to them ? Intermarriage long time ago ? Or they just conducted tests and included people who already live in the middle east and married with Arabs ? Back to the assumption that some historians relate them to the Hattians, I did hear that they wrote in acadic and had ties with the assyrians.
