So the last episode of "I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class" just came out and i think that its pretty clear that instead of getting a proper season 2 we will probably get a spinoff of some sorts where the protagonist and the main story is Yuu and her love life and i think that's pretty obvious based on some of the last scenes in the last episode where Yuu asks her mom if she will find love like Umi and Maki and basicaly her mom tells her "yeah of course" and the show is clearly trying to slightly push our attention to her love life.

I also think that Umi and Maki's ARC is lowkey over and theres nothing more that we could get as in character development and that we'll probably just look at their relationship from the other characters points of view and because of that since fans have liked the anime so much and they're "story" is over we'll probably get a spinoff with Yuu as the protagonist.

I honestly have no evidence to back this up this is just my personal opinion and consideration, but i think that if this were to happen then fans would probably still like it.

I know how many people said that the ending for Oshi No Ko in the manga is >!really bad and feels a bit rushed!< and people think that it would be better with some changes and they're hoping that the anime ending is different.
