We took the steamer on Ullswater, so I got to see the whole lake from the water, and I found the whole journey really peaceful and relaxing.
being out on the lake, surrounded by the mountains, made me feel much more connected to nature. It was just one of those moments when you could switch off and forget about everything else for a while.
I came across a stray cat. He was really brave. He jumped up onto the edge of a horse paddock, and then a horse came over and sniffed him. it was so cute!
My cat just turned 6, and he’s basically an angel.
He sleeps by my feet every night, gives me biscuits every day, and if I get up at 3am to go to the toilet, he’ll actually get up and come with me.
Honestly, he acts more like a dog than a cat, super loyal and always wants to be near me.
I love this little guy so much.
Just came back from the Peak District and really enjoyed it.
I didn’t expect to love it this much, but the views were stunning and the whole area felt so peaceful.
The villages were lovely, and even the drive around was beautiful. Definitely somewhere I’d visit again.
