This guy shows up pretty much every day to eat and hang out in my garden. He's a polydactyl delight and super friendly. I've tried a couple of times to bring him inside to live, but he ain't having it. During bad weather he goes into my next door neighbor's basement office and hangs out there. He doesn't seem to like the fact that I've got several indoor cats.
This is my neighbor’s super sweet kitty. I had left my window open when I went out this morning. As I was backing out of my driveway I heard this loud meow from my backseat (which startled the hell out of me but then I couldn’t stop laughing about it)
She hopped out and went home when I opened the door. Guess she wanted to explore my van!

Edit: as much as I wish I could bring her home with me, she’s my neighbors kitty and I have a kitty of my own who likes to scream at Neighbor Kitty to get off our lawn and would be very pissed at me if I brought another kitty home.
Last edit: a fun fact about Neighbor Kitty is that whenever she walks passed me in front of my house, I’ll call out “Hi Kitty!” And every time I say it, her tail goes up. So now I try to see how many consecutive up tails I get every time she passes me

He was incredibly weak when I found him. He tried to get away when I crawled under the truck to get him but couldn’t move like a kitten his size should have been able to. I couldn’t in good conscience leave him when he’s clearly been starving and was covered in industrial dust. When I held him it felt like I was holding lose skin and bones. I felt awful for him to be in such a bad state. He was very vocal about being kidnapped screaming at me as I was driving demanding attention. He’s a super affectionate cat that became apparent in the short time I had him. Unfortunately I’m not currently in a position to take him in and nurse him back to health so I surrendered him to a local cat foster.
He's an iPad kid and he seems pretty fond of me. He's a super good cat besides the penchant for sneezing in open mouths.
We have a pool. We have cats, three (3), all indoor. Today my wife sent me pictures of this sleek void not our hamb living it up beside the pool. I have preemptively named him Chad, just in case. You know. He accidentally falls into our house
My neighbor's cat Tony is an outdoor/indoor cat that's a big hunter and age is slowing him down. I've had 0 pest issues since being here for 3 years. Wasn't really a cat person, but the rugged guy purrs and is chill with me. He's using my place as a retirement/vacation home it seems.
10/10 would stay here again for visits from the hotel cat
This is Max. Max is not my cat.
He's my downstairs-neighbor's cat but loves to come visit me upstairs regularly.
Sometimes he catches me on the parking lot when I come home from work. Idk if he hears my car or if he sees me from some hiding spot, but he suddenly spawns next to me, meows and rubs against my legs. He then escorts me to the front door (like the gentleman he is) and when I open it, he slips inside and immediately runs up the stairs to my apartment.
I have a friendly relationship with Max's owner and we exchanged numbers after the first few visits. Now, I get a whatsapp when Max wants to come up and visit, which is very convenient.
After Max's first visits, I noticed he was kinda unsettled. He liked to sit by my low window and look out, but after that he was just roaming around. It was probably, because my apartment was still a new place for him. So I decided to buy him a cat bed (one you can hook up against the radiator) and it took a while, but eventually, he actually used it! He would curl up inside and either start cleaning himself or just straight up taking a nap.
I have this "gaming beanbag" in my living room and after a while, he even used that for napping and chilling. One time he even watched the TV while I was playing on my PS5, moving his head with my character's movements, it was so funny.
He once even came up to me, while I was sitting in the beanbag and playing, and just curled up RIGHT NEXT TO ME (picture added for evidence). I thought this was a big deal, because Max isn't a very cuddly cat. He likes pets and I can even pick him up for some 5-second-cuddles, but then he wants to get down immediately.
A recent milestone was, that he actually slept with me in my BED. Due to medical reasons I feel super exhausted a lot and like to take 1-2 hour naps during the day, when I can.
Max was currently visiting when I felt exhausted again, wanting to nap, but I felt bad for "leaving him alone". And I also didn't want to kick him out just to sleep.
So I left all doors open and went to bed, actually curious what he would do. After a few minutes, he actually came into my bedroom, jumped on the bed, curled up between/on my legs and JUST FELL ASLEEP HIMSELF. It was just adorable.
I never owned a cat, but I assume he just likes to chill with me/at my place :)
Of course I give him treats when he comes, but I don't think it's just because of that. He purrs when I pet and ruffle him and he slow-blinks at me a lot too.
So long story short, I just hope he will continue to visit me and brighten up my day a little every time :)
This is my ¿garage? cat Tree trunks. He only leaves twice per day to patrol the perimeter for other cats to politely tell them the garage is full then goes back to sleep.
Posted this on mildly interesting earlier today and they enjoyed it before the post got taken down for rule #6 (biggest post I’ve ever made, I’m quite mad about it) but some said you all would really enjoy it!
My car broke down while I was dashing earlier and the neighborhood cat came over to greet me/see if I had any treats. I pet her and played with her while I was waiting on my ride to come with some oil and tools to diagnose the issue (before mechanics jump in I think I have a cracked oil pan, roads in TN can be rough).
I wanted to clarify a few things that were left open in the post due to their rules. Please don’t think I’m being pedantic, I just don’t want any poop throwing in the comment section:
I would not have taken this cat for so many reasons, top being that she’s clearly someone’s pet and for better or worse I’m not going to take this cat.
He was petted by me because how could I not, I’ll include more pics below.
I’m not here to talk ethics on indoor/outdoor cats. I WAS on that sub to post a cute picture of a cat I found that I thought was a mildly interesting part of my life, but I’ve seen how that goes.
Even if I were to take one, I have a boy of my own named Jack at home, as well as several reptiles, unrelated pet rats, and a newborn human child. I’m still expanding on snakes to break into the job market for them, and Jack doesn’t like other cats so that would be off the table anyways.
I’m a huge animal lover clearly, and I make sure to stay on top of vaccines, vet visits, separate enclosures for all the non-cat pets that are separated from each other when needed. I’ve kept animals my whole life and if I were ever unable to take care of them I have family members who would gladly support me.
There’s no kittens in the car. I just parked seconds before I took this video.
Finally, I know DoorDash is bad. I’m still on leave for paternity and my paycheck got messed up in the office, so I’m doing what I can and I see it as a necessary evil.
Please behave, no cat distribution system comments if you can avoid it and I would appreciate car advice down to a minimum, that’s handled. I really enjoyed the post earlier and had a lot of fun until people ruined it, please don’t let that happen 🙏 mods please don’t blast me because god forbid a man wants some whimsy in his life.

spotted these cuties in front of my flat
now, i don’t live in this flat and it’s in another city. went to the balcony and saw this majestic family outside. they can instantly brighten your mood. the baby looking towards me is very naughty.
wanna take them home w me but i stay in yet another city than my hometown and the puppy im currently taking care of would get angry on me. there’s also another cat i feed every now and then. he hates her like crazy.
i wanted to take all of them but i can only watch them. they are all so gorgeous. my favourite part of them is their eyes. their eyes draw me towards them.
