Sometimes pictures worth a thousand words. Not mine but a regular visitor
& he's about as smart as he looks in this well-timed photo. Thank God he's good looking.
Folks, we got ourselves a shouter in this NMC
I love this little guy. He lives down the street from me and is taken care of between a couple of people. He greeted me with some full throated screams and that's just the way I like it.
My not my cat brings me muce
Thankfully I noticed and asked him nicely to take it back outside. He was mighty pleased with himself
Taking Rufus to the vet!!!
Apparently he was my neighbors who didn’t want him anymore. She just put him outside so he came to my place. We are at the vets so he will be checked out and given any medical attention he needs. It was work getting him in the crate but thankfully he is very good motivated!
The Look i got after i gave this Stranger Cat a Bowl Full of Boiled Chicken 🥲
I came across this cat on my vacation, and though she was very calm yet, she had an extreme level of attitude. After I gave him a bowl full of boiled chicken on special request from the restaurant. The look she gave me after eating all of it.🥲😆😭
Turns out you were all right. He really was applying for the job. Today we officially welcomed him into the family. We’ll give him all the love he deserves, and I’m sure he’ll give us just as much in return 🧡
Update: The street cat that used to wait for me every morning and greet me daily is no longer just a street cat.
I call this "cat practice". Most evenings I see this kitten honing her cat skills bopping around the yard.
A skunk has figured out how to get through the doggy door my cats use.
Yesterday, I heard extremely loud chomping on the cat food. I just thought it was the newest cat, because she’s still somewhat a kitten and is extremely loud and crazy. The fucking fear I felt when I walked in there and this was what I saw was insane. I knocked on the door trying my best not to frighten it too much and have it spray me.
My boyfriend bought some skunk repellant, hasn’t worked so far. He’s been hunting for its den trying to close it off. He said you can’t kill it because if it dies, it will release ALL of its stank glands.
This is a problem I never expected to ever have in my entire life, lol. Soooo, on the off chance anyone else has had an issue like this, how did you resolve it?
He’s so freaking cute with his magnificent tail, but he can’t stay here with his stank gland being a constant fear since we found out. Like, I’m legit terrified. We thought the skunk repellant was working, then when I was laying down for sleep last night, I heard that loud chomping again. Boyfriend came in and shooed him away and put the cover on the doggy door, but our two cats use the restroom out there. We don’t have a litter box (I despise them, the little stinky rocks get strewn throughout the house from their paws).
I’m at a loss here, and I don’t know where else to post this, because Redditors on other subs will freak out because I let my cats outside.
Had a camping buddy
Had this little guy visit our tent while camping. Really friendly and enjoyed a nice nap.
Found this lovely lady on the side of the road yesterday.
Not my cat enjoying her treats, and her brother in his sweater
This is Wolf and her brother Paul. Wolf is very skittish but doesn’t mind eating my treats. Paul, wearer of sweaters and sitter in puddles. We just recently found out Wolf is deaf, like many white cats with blue eyes (fun fact :) ) we thought she just liked to ignore us but her owners informed us that that is probably only about half the case :)
Who's catalina cat is this??
Random cat on catalina island followed me all the way home into my air b&b bed! This has never happened to me before, is this more common than I think it is?
