Binghamton Music Scene Poll
Hi! So, I'm running a poll with questions focused on the local music scene in and around Binghamton. My goal with this data is to figure out what our community thinks the music scene needs most, what the scene is doing well (or not so well), and where our community thinks the music scene is headed.
Why am I doing this poll? Ultimately, I'd love to turn this into a nonprofit that fixes as much as it can with whatever resources it gets. All the other arts have nonprofits. Local music deserves one too. I've been chatting with some people locally who think the ideas are solid, but I need numbers to back up my theories, and this little poll can help with that.
Hence this poll, which as of this moment has 59 responses. It's presented in a Google Form, which means that yes, Google will make you login to respond, so you can't vote multiple times and sway the numbers one way or the other. If you're not cool with logging in, I totally get it. For what it's worth, the poll doesn't ask any personal questions. It's asking about the genres you like, if you've seen any local bands live, etc. There are two pages of questions, and a third page if you identify as a musician.
