Been outbid on about 5 houses now and we've been 15-20k over on all of our offers. Im confused. Are people moving here? Can anyone help me understand. Not just bing but broome county?

We found our last cat when she was 2 days old in a box left in the woods 😞 After 13 purrrfect years she recently passed away. Our other cat is a pixie bob and is missing a friend. Aside from the Binghamton humane society/ pet stores does anyone know of anyone / other rescues/ breeders that currently has kittens? Appreciate any info!

Looking for a recommendation on a good bank to switch to for a checking and savings account. I’m currently with M&T and have been unable to log in to mobile or online banking since Friday, but my husband and friends all can. I called them and was on the phone for over an hour yesterday and they were unable to help and said they “might have it figured out in a few days.” Every time I try to log in or change my password it says mobile/online banking is not available.

I know I can go to a branch, but not being able to check my balances and pending transactions without making a phone call or going to a branch is very inconvenient. Really frustrated with all of this and am looking into other banking options and would love recommendations. I’ve heard mixed feedback on Visions. Thanks in advance.

I had a man come to my home yesterday saying he was a HAAG Inspector and we are in a storm damage area for roof repairs.

He said that they inspect the roofing for storm damage and then work with my insurance to replace the roof, if damaged, at no cost to me.

This sounds too good to be true. I don't really see how this can be true, and how their business works if I am not getting screwed somehow.

What's the catch if any? Will my insurance get me back on my next premium if I do this? I struggle to believe this is just as good a service as the guy made it seem. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

At this point we know we are dropping Spectrum for Greenlight because WTF. Yesterday someone finally replaced some part of the coax line after minute by minute drops and today there's an outage...again.

We also have their one tv package that comes with the Internet. What has everyone who switched used for live TV?

Does anyone have recommendations for great massage therapists ? Or natural practitioners that offer modalities that would help with pain relief? Adductor tear, possible labral tear and lower back issues, completed PT 3x and looking to get regular massages to help with pain management and improve my quality of life..

Hello! My partner and I will be relocating to the Binghamton area soon for work and are having a difficult time finding a house to rent that is in a good location, pet friendly, and not too outdated. We currently live several hours away and unfortunately won't be able to visit again in person to view rentals before moving. We did find a home in Endicott that fits most of our needs, but are uncertain about the area near Main st. There's a sketchy hotel nearby we were warned about, and I'm not sure there is sufficient space in the neighborhood to walk our dog, jog, etc. We're looking for local's perspective on this area (outlined in the photo) and any advice you can give about living/moving here. So my girlfriend and I are moving to the area by July and are looking for housing. She just got a job in Endicott and we’re both going back to school next year. Not looking for anything astounding but just a place within walking/biking distance of a social hub and gym. I’m okay with a slight “Hood” but would love to be able to walk somewhere late at night. She’s outdoorsy, I’m a cafe/cocktail guy when I’m not gaming/watching movies. Thanks for any help in advance!
