"Autumn" Alexindrite from Sri Lanka. 5.7 cts. NFS.

Would you agree with name ?

Another Alexandrite. I heard from somewhere this kind of Alexindrite calls "Autumn" due to their apperance.

This is alexandrite (should be from Russia, Ural) I bought for my wife 😀.

Strangely it's green only in really white cold LED light, in normal light it's kinda lght bluish-green. In incandenscent light, candle and light from lighter it become purplish-pink or pink.

But I guess because of size on fingers change in color can not see clearly 🤣🤣🤣.

Need an idea of earing with this fluoresence Merelani near leuco minty ice garnets.

Please, share your thought about design or is it better to recut before?

I know it has to be calibrated first.

Video made in different lightning condition to understand how will it behaive.

UV fluoresence: 365 nm - very bright flashing peach color, 395 nm - very bright pink/raspberry pink color. In night club is really glowing pink 🤣.

Every stone 4 cts.

How will you name this fluoresence Greenish yellow garnet.

Another garnet from my collection. 27.4 carats fluoresence UV active garnet. Low iron, Mn bearing with traces of Cr.

UV reaction is very similar to photo, but not so flashy.

Is it rare or common?
